We were first approached by this client trying to build a house that reflected their long german history. In fact, many personal artifacts and antiques were incorporated into the house itself. Probably the most impressive piece being the large stained glass panel that was encased in glass and set into the side of the house. It’s a dramatic piece, especially when the morning light shines through. Other interesting details includ a tremendous amount of stone, a fake cellar entrance in the side of the mountain, and a nano-wall door system that allows the entire exterior wall to be opened up to the elevated deck area.
