This house was a lot of fun to build. Clients were great to work with. You’ll notice a lot of arched and pointed windows and beam work. Not only is there an European/Arabic motif throughout, but this was also a play on their last name which started with a V. So many neat elements throughout the build, but one of the highlights was the custom copper hood built by the same artisan that does all the copper work for McMenamins restaurants and bars.

This house was designed to look as though Frank Lloyd Wright had designed it with his classic low pitch and long overhang attributes. It also needed to accommodate a collection of cars and space to work on them. With many modern touches and a lot of tilework, the extensive stained woodwork offers a nice contrast.
